At Sextons & Co., we are a family owned and run business operating in Maidstone and surrounding areas. Our owner, Sam Sexton, has been trading for 12 years as a tax consultant/accountant with prior employment at HMRC for 26 years. We have a real, in-depth understanding of how investigations work in addition to knowing how the legislation is applied, having worked within the HMRC format and their procedures.
Sam has also provided education workshops to customers/newly self employed and accountants both with self assessment, partnerships self employment, payroll, benefits and expenses CIS (old and new) for both contractors and subcontractors, foreign income, capital gains tax, tax credits, and have gone on to represent offshore trust remuneration umbrella company charges, umbrella company within agency led work charges, IR35 breaches, employment legislation breaches, failure to declare income - the list really is endless!
As demonstrated in our services page, we are high skilled in collating full reports to counter argue the investigation lead points, plus establish any other additional pointers to present to strengthen our clients' position.
